8 Times Black Panther Was Forced To Kill

6. Beheading Sabretooth

While Black Panther is an accomplished martial artist, a master of stealth and one of the smartest men in the Marvel universe, a lot of readers and more passive comic fans tend to forget that Black Panther is the King of Wakanda, a position that inspires rivalries nowhere near as well explored as they ought to be.

This idea of rulers fighting rulers is explored in the House Of M comic arc, wherein a frenzied and out of control Sabretooth is enlisted as Magneto's personal assassin, and after mercilessly killing his own son, is instructed to take down Magento's main rival in the Mutant-Human War, King T'Challa.

After a battle wherein Black Panther uses his cunning to outwit the crazed Sabretooth, T'Challa takes advantage of a moment of rest and beheads him, knowing it to be the only way to truly kill a mutant with a healing factor as potent as that of Victor Creed's.
