Batman: 10 Controversial Moments We’ll Never See On Screen

6. The Death Of Robin

robin-death Batman's faithful sidekick has been with the detective through thick and thin. But it doesn't always seem that way. Sometimes the Boy Wonder wants some alone time or even wants to break out on his own (Night Wing). Other times, he meets the reaper. Yes, Robin has died once, but not the one you think. After Dick abandoned his Robin attire for something more dark and manly (Night Wing), he was replaced by a more unstable youth named Jason Todd, who eventually met his end at the hands of The Joker in Batman: A Death in the Family. However, it wouldn't be the last time we saw Jason. Hollywood has never explored the idea of killing off Robin. They haven't even introduced Jason Todd onto the big screen as of yet. Given the fact that there have been seven Batman films so far, it's probably a sure bet Hollywood will make it the eighth time Robin dodged the hearse further down the line.
