Batman Death Of The Family: 5 Ways It Could End

1. It Was Never Actually The Joker

5858 So the Joker disappears for a year and returns faceless, having to strap a detached face to his head. What€™s to say that someone else isn€™t wearing Joker€™s face as a mask and imitating him? It€™s possible, though not highly likely, that we could have been dealing with someone else posing as the Joker all along. If Dr Thomas Elliot was able to pose as Bruce relatively successfully before the New 52 reboot, what€™s to say someone can€™t pretend to the Joker now? I€™m not sure whether a plot twist like this would be great or terrible. So far, I don€™t think we€™ve had a reasonable explanation as to why Joker allowed Dollmaker to remove his face. Was it so that someone else could wear it to pose as him, leaving Batman pre-occupied with the imposter and oblivious to the Joker real threat? If that€™s the case, where is Joker now? And how is he going to get his face back? Also, if this is the case then we could see Joker killed off without actually being killed off. One month to go In a month€™s time we€™ll know Joker€™s endgame, and the unspeakable tragedy that awaits Bruce. For now we€™re left with niggling questions like: Why did the Joker volunteer for Dollmaker's extreme face peel? Where is Gordon? Where is Alfred? Are Joker and Batman fighting in the Batcave in those advanced previews of issue #17? Did Joker actually visit the Batcave once before? It€™s a bad time to be an ally of The Batman, that€™s for sure. One month to go, Bat fans.
