Batman: The Adventures Continue - Everything We Know About BTAS' Return

5. It Features A Unique Cover (And Cover Variant)

Batman The Animated Series Comic
DC Comics

Though we've already established that Ty Templeton will be illustrating the comic in the style of The New Batman Adventures, both the cover art and the cover variant will have more of a traditional comic book appearance about them.

Illustrated by Dave Johnson, the cover features Batman standing atop a building - much like that iconic shot from the Animated Series' intro - with the moon overhead, and that building features some of his most notorious enemies. On the other hand, the variant is illustrated by Dan Mora and showcases the New Adventures Bat-Family - Batman, Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing - as they run across the rooftops of Gotham.

Again, while each character wears their New Adventures outfits, the artwork itself is more in-line with what you'd expect from a comic book - and it's nice to get a glimpse of what this universe would look line in alternate illsutration styles.
