4. Azrael Will Be The Focus Of A Big Storyline
Azrael was yet another popular Batman character that missed out on an Animated Series appearance, but fans will undoubtedly be happy to hear that The Adventures Continue will rectify that as he will feature in what is being described as an 'intense' storyline.
Speaking to EW, Dini revealed that he was particularly excited for this one, commenting:
"[He comes] to Gotham on a mission of death to recover something that’s been stolen from the Order of St. Dumas and that brings him into conflict with Batman. Batman has to keep him murdering members of the Gotham underworld as they try to put together this mystery of who took it and why. I think it’s one of the coolest reveals we’ve done and it makes perfect sense given the lore of our series. That’s one of the issues I’m most jazzed about."
Given how trigger-happy Azrael is known to be in the comics, his conduct will obviously clash with Batman's well-renowned code, so it's going to be intriguing to see if they can work together on the matter, or if their differences will divide them.
