Comic Con 2012: Toys, Collectables And Cool Stuff: Part 2

Part 2 looks at all there is to put on a wish list from the world of Film, Gaming and Star Wars merchandise.

So with the Marvel and DC stuff out of the way, it's time to look at what collectables were on show as the San Diego Comic Con from the world of Film, Games and Star Wars.

Film Merchandise

Let's start off with a film that's split the world of fanboys and girls right down the middle, with some loving it and some seeing nothing but problems with the mysterious plot... Prometheus. Neca had their new toy line on display and it was androids and space jockeys galore. Next up from the Neca, they've moved deeper into their love affair with 80s actioners and created a couple of Dutch figures from Predator, a figure that's been on my wish list (now on my pre order list) for quite sometime. Also we get a first look at the Hudson figure from Aliens. WOW. Now I need the entire Colonial Marine crew, headed by a great Ripley figure please. Great stuff. We got to see the packaging for the much talked about Back to the Future Hover Board replica (with no hover capability -boo). So damn cute but I think I'll save my money until I can buy a proper working one. Going further afield. There was a gorgeous Na'vi collectable. I'm not an Avatar fan as such but this thing is huge and gorgeusly crafted. Same goes for this Pan's Labyrinth model. Last up and rounding off the film inspired stuff. The Kotobukiya Ghostbuster girl has been doing the rounds but there was also a preview of the MIB3 girl on the way too. Is there anything this range won't put a girl in tight outfits for? (Bless 'em). Click "next" below to read the gaming section...
