Dark Nights: Metal - 8 Reasons To Be Excited About The Batman Crossover

1. Jason Fabok’s Cool Cover Art

The core Dark Nights series won't be short on stellar visuals with Greg Capullo on interior and cover art duty, but a shout-out also goes to Jason Fabok for creating these incredible illustrations for the tie-in one-shots.

The pick of the pair has to be the Cyborg-Batman riding in on a giant skull tank, taking out five members of the Justice League simultaneously.

That's some mapcap stuff right there!

Fabok's second design gives us a closer look at Red Death, the Flash-Batman hybrid from the Dark Multiverse, and he looks badass surrounded by all those skulls.

The artist shared an early version of the tank design on Twitter, telling his followers that he came up with the idea while playing Thomas the Tank Engine with his son.

That's some twisted imagination you've got, Jason.
