EVERY Hero Batman Has Defeated

There are very few superhero duos who have fought more than Batman and Superman, and even fewer who have stayed close friends after so many battles. In the main DC universe alone, Batman and Superman have fought twelve times, resulting in two ties and five victories each - which is pretty good going for a regular human with no superpowers versus one of the world's most powerful metahumans.

Notably, though, Batman's victories over Superman tend to be considerably more brutal. For example, his victory in Batman #612 comes from him dropping Lois Lane to her death in order to snap Superman out of his mind control to save her, and his victory in The Dark Knight Strikes Again #1 involving some Kryptonite gloves, a lot of punching, and Superman's face.

That said, it's also crucial that Batman doesn't always win, because the uncertainty of who will emerge victor is half the joy of reading any comic where the Big Two fight each other - although it's hard to not root for the Dark Knight just that little bit more.
