9. Guslaug
What can you really say about Guslaug? No really, what can you say?
She is a frost giant and as such is, well, giant. Too giant for her classes. Most of Guslaug's appearances in Strange Academy are her peering into classrooms through windows and generally not saying much. You have to feel for her. Being left out or feeling on the outside, even if for totally logical reasons, has got to be isolating. Her interactions with her peers is friendly, but really it's the kind of friend that you say hi to while passing in the hallway, not the type of friend that you share your innermost insecurities and joys with.
Even when battling The Hollow, she is the one who runs to the teachers for support, as opposed to the others who must battle for their lives. It's sad to say, but she is almost an afterthought. Great for the atmosphere of a magic school, but as a character, a lot of development needs to happen before she can be considered a true character and not just window dressing.
