Every Weapon In Wonder Woman's Arsenal

No matter which costume or origin story is examined, there is one constant throughout Wonder Woman's history : her golden Lasso of Truth.

Forged for Diana by Hephaestus, the lasso is immensely strong, can be of varying length, and can't be broken, cut, or snapped by any conventional means.

Wonder Woman is able to use the lasso as a weapon, usually for snaring opponents and either bringing them in closer to strike or to swing them into the ground, a building, or some other hard surface. She can also use it like a whip to strike opponents or as a defensive tool to decrease the power and force of incoming damage.

Its primary magical use is to force people to be honest; anyone touching the rope is compelled to speak complete truth.

While that may be its most famous use, it does have other magical purposes. The lasso dispels illusions, seeing through them and showing reality. The lasso also works with Diana's natural empathy and wisdom to restore memories to those who have lost them, restore sanity to those suffering psychologically, and to protect her from magical attacks.
