Marvel Legacy: 10 Things You Need To Know After Issue 1

2. Tony Stark Is AWOL

Marvel Legacy Tony Stark

Although Tony Stark was long thought comatose, Legacy sought to allay those perceptions, providing us with the bombshell that the OG Iron Man is very much awake and out of his stasis.

The story will no doubt be continued in the Bendis-Maleev series featuring the eponymous hero, but what this means for the character as a whole is, much like the rest of these reveals, somewhat unclear. Will Tony be looking to take up the Iron Mantle again? Or is he content with Riri Williams doing her thing as Iron Heart?

It's obvious that Marvel aren't going to let the character rest, owing to the fact that he's outranked in terms of popularity only by Wolverine and Spider-Man, along with the character's position as the face of the MCU, but yeah, make of it what you will. Tony was in a weird place during the Civil War sequel, so it'll be interesting to see how he fits into Marvel's plans going forward.
