A shockingly large percentage of those dystopian futures Marvel has are related to the X-Men. House Of M was one thing, but all of them are riffing on the classic dark timeline: Days Of Future Past was one of the first dystopian storylines, recently adapted into the latest of the movie franchise, a worst-case scenario where mutants are hunted down by armies of killer robots. Then the Sentinels get bored of hunting down mutants and start going after other superheroes, then humans in general. Stupid robots. Intriguingly, the teaser for the Sentinel Territories is for Years Of Future Past - possibly an even more downbeat world€‹?
