Back in the late nineties, Peter Parker's alter-ego, Spider-Man, was something of a criminal, which pushed him to abandon the identity for a time and become other, new superheroes.

Through this period, which is called "Identity Crisis," he adopted the persona of four superheroes including Prodigy, Ricochet, Dusk, and Hornet... most of whom were more popular and beloved by NYC than Spider-Man!
