1. Character Betrayal
While this seems to run counter to my previous point, it still holds true. There are characters that have absolutely lacked any sort of integrity towell, themselves. Spike has been flip-flopping between love struck loony and dark anti-hero of awesome snark. Andrew cant seem to decide whether or not hes a good guy with a dark past or just some nerd with access to extreme mad-science abilities. But the biggest betrayer of self is Xander. Once the comedic heart and soul of the Scoobies, Xander has quite literally turned away from everything in preference of a normal life. While there is an indication that this could change, the only way Xander would be going back into the fray is dragged kicking and screaming. And this is not Xander. The normal boy has always been one who does everything, who has to be kept out of the front lines, is now a coward.
