Top 10 Time-Defying Arcs In Comics History

1. DC One Million

The number one place is awarded to the fantastic DC One Million. Written by Grant Morrison, DC One Million not only crosses time but also unites the DC multiverse seeing the present day Justice League of America members team up to save the future. It also features the first appearance of the Justice Legion of Alpha, who protect our solar system in the 853rd Century from their base on Jupiter. The story arc is so great because is has the Justice League of America team up with future versions of themselves in the form of the Justice Legion of Alpha. Alpha includes a descendant of the original Superman, an animated living statue of Wonder Woman and a 853rd Century version of Batman, who was inspired by legends of the original and even has his own robot sidekick named €˜Robin The Toy Wonder€™. The Justice Legion of Alpha travels back in time to bring the original teammates of the Justice League of America to the future to participate in games to celebrate the return of Superman Prime from the centre of the sun. However, the celebrations do not run smoothly and Solaris, the evil living sun, unleashes a virus programmed to attack humans and machines, driving them insane. The Justice League of America and the Justice Legion of Alpha team up in order to take down the evil living sun. Kryptonite, time travel, plot twists, surprise cameos and crossovers galore earn DC One Million its place at the top of our countdown. Are there any we missed?
