This five part story-arc sees Susan Storm, The Invisible Woman, being taken hostage by the infamous Doctor Doom. With Susan held hostage, Doom instructs the remaining members of The Fantastic Four to travel to the past and retrieve the lost treasure of Blackbeard the pirate. The story also hosts a brief cameo of the Hulk in the form of a comic within the comic, foreshadowing his future appearance in The Fantastic Four series a few issues later. Excellent writing from the genius Stan Lee as well as the introduction of The Fantastic Fours nemesis Doctor Doom make this comic a must read.
