In a classic case of Stan Lee's alliterative qualities, the thief known as Weasel Willis (really) managed to get his hands on a piece of Iron Man armour all the way back in 1965, and even used it to battle Tony Stark.
Willis' sole motivation for stealing the armour stemmed from the fact his capers lacked ambition. As the first to infiltrate and rob Stark Industries, he thought, his reputation and financial standing would skyrocket. Unfortunately for Willis, he was unable to outsmart Stark, who tricked the crook into expending most of the stolen armour's energy.
Before this, Willis had even posed as the real Iron Man in public, committing thefts in secret while Stark hatched a plan to defeat him.
Willis didn't appear after the issue, but he was still one of the only Iron Man villains to successfully steal one of his suits.
