Jubilee
First off let me address something, this is not the Jubilee you know from the 90's X-Men cartoon AT ALL. Jubilee lost her powers (well the mutant ones) on M-Day (Scarlet Witch, House of M, no more mutants, keep up) and after that restored to using a Power Suit; well that didn't last long. After some things happened Jubilee goes to see the son of Dracula, Xarus, who turns her into a vampire. This is all centered around the storyline Curse of the Mutants, the Vampires send a man infected with the vampire gene into a city square in the sun for him to explode to infect everyone and have them come to them to finish their transformation-it seems that one still needs to be bitten to finish the transformation, but being covered in the blood of a vampire can make you want to to "return" to them. Jubilee falls for this call, because she simply wants to, probably from her being sick of no longer having powers. It turns out to be a trap, the end. While some people did not retain their vampire-powers and Jubilee is kept in Utopia to try curing her, but to no avail. As a vampire Jubilee has basically of the vampire powers and weaknesses, so it wouldn't hurt to have her on a team of superheroes at all. As of late though she has been taken into a group of vampires called The Forsaken that have the ability to walk in the daylight and do not require human blood to live. Besides that Jubilee is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat at a level that is good enough for her to fight members of The Hand. So that is the lineup of the new X-Men team. Who is your favorite member? Who would you like to see added to the team (female or male)? I for one kind of hope X-23 come on the scene, she could fill the Wolverine slot, and she has a close friendship forming with Jubilee that seems to be key to both them feeling more "normal".
