Every Villain The Arrowverse Has Teased But Not Used

Doomsday may not be the most layered villain on this list as his only claim to fame was nearly killing Superman in the Death of Superman storyline. Still, that is a claim that few in the DC universe can boast to, and even fewer did so with brute strength alone.

The beast was first hinted at in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover when Lois teased a flustered Clark that he was less afraid when fighting Doomsday compared to that moment where he had to change baby Jonathan's diapers.

A more overt reference to the character popped up in Superman & Lois' second season, where a being in similar garb to what Doomsday wore in his first appearances was causing earthquakes in Smallville. The creature escaped his underground imprisonment and battled Superman, only to be revealed that the being in the green containment suit was Bizarro.

The actual Doomsday may not be the ideal choice to carry a season-long arc in a series, but would make for an interesting physical foe for Tyler Hoechlin's Superman to go up against every once in a while.
