10 2016 Movie Characters Who Probably Died Horrible Deaths

After escaping the clutches of deranged survivalist Howard (John Goodman), Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) faces off against an alien spacecraft, which she uses an improvised molotov cocktail to disable.

Michelle's then faced with a choice: head to Baton Rouge for safety, or join the resistance efforts in Houston. She ultimately chooses the latter, driving to Houston as a giant alien spacecraft can be seen heading that way in a brief flash of lightning.

Of course, the realistic outcome is that Michelle falls to the alien creatures, assuming she even makes it to Houston. Considering how the first Cloverfield film ended (with the implied death of everyone), Michelle is most likely heading straight into oblivion, even if she maybe gets to put up a bit of a fight first.

As these movies are delineated entries into an anthology, it seems unlikely her fate will ever be confirmed either way.
