10 90s Films That Hollywood Will Probably Remake

4. Speed (1994)

What Culture - 90s remakes Speed Although Bollywood has already sunk its claws into the 1994 action film Speed for a sort-of remake entitled Tezz, where the action was changed from a bus to a train, it€™s still very likely that Hollywood will follow suit at some point with a remake of its own. The original starred Keanu Reeves as a young cop who has to stop a bus that€™s rigged to explode if it goes below 50mph. It€™s a brilliant sweaty-palms, edge-of-your-seat thriller that spawned a terrible sequel set aboard a cruise ship that even Reeves was smart enough to stay clear of, leaving Sandra Bullock embarrassingly in the driver€™s seat (so to speak). The original was released almost 20 years ago and seems like one we€™ll get a remake of sooner rather than later.
