10 Absurdly Bad Lines Of Movie Dialogue Clearly Written By Crazy People

1. Everything Mr. Freeze Says - Batman & Robin

Batman And Robin1 How was it actually possible for so many dialogue cues to find their way into a singular movie? You'll have to ask Joel Schumacher, who helmed what is not only the worst Batman movie ever made, but arguably the worst movie of all-time. In Batman & Robin, George Clooney's "cool" Batman goes up against a variety of misjudged villains, one of which is played by Arnold Schwarzenegger: Mr. Freeze. When they designed this character, they really went to town with a specific trait - the one-liners. The selection process for these one-liners presumably consisted of every single one that got pitched or drawn on a piece of scrap paper or shouted from across the street from a homeless person just went in the movie anyway, regardless as to whether it made sense or was actually good. I'm pretty sure that Arnie even made some of them up on the spot as a joke, but Schumacher decided to throw them into the melting pot anyway. There was no standard set for 'em. Which resulted in lines such as: "In this universe, there's only one absolute: everything freezes." What? What does that mean? How about: "It's a cold town!", which he just sort of says because he can. Sometimes Mr. Freeze will even shout things that don't tie into anything in-particular: "What killed the dinosaurs? The ice age!" he screams before shooting at an ice sculpture of a dinosaur. But how is that a threat to Batman? He only talked about what wiped out the dinosaurs. The worst line of all, of course, which is perhaps the most ludicrous piece of dialogue to have ever left an actor's mouth, comes in the form of: "Freeze in Hell, Batman!" No freakin' way, scriptwriter. You're fired. Which insanely bad instances of movie dialogue have we missed out? Let us know in the comments section below.
