7. Auric Goldfinger - Goldfinger
Given how cartoony and ridiculous so many of the Bond villain plans are, Auric Goldfinger's is comparatively simple, if also immensely contrived in a far more pared-down way. The first step of his plan is having cohort Pussy Galore disperse a nerve gas over Fort Knox that will incapacitate every single guard on the island, and this will allow him to then creep on, plant a nuclear device that will irradiate all of the gold on the island, and then profit as the value of his own gold stock skyrockets. It's contrived because Goldfinger basically entrusts the entire crux of his plan with one person, a woman no less, who is promptly seduced by Bond's genitals and persuaded to replace the nerve gas with an altogether more harmless substance, preventing Goldfinger from carrying out his otherwise simple plan. Plus, there's the overwhelming feeling that Goldfinger should have just killed Bond when he had the chance, which he really, really did.
