6. Donal Logue's Jaw - Blade

Sometimes old injuries can come back to haunt you, as was the case with Donal Logue in Blade. The actor had originally injured his jaw in a motorcycle accident several years before Blade kicked off filming, and unfortunately for him, during filming of the hospital scene in which he struggles with N'Bushe Wright he injured it again.

The story didn't end there though. After suffering a dislocation to his jaw - a bad enough thing in itself - Logue was taken to hospital, where his makeup was way too convincing and fooled the staff into believing that he was a real burns victim.

Clearly Logue's scenes were a little too taxing all round as his stunt-double also broke his leg in another sequence.
