Winning two Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Michael Stivic on All In The Family in the 1970s, Reiner has since placed most of his focus on a career behind the camera, which has led to the creation of timeless classics across a multitude of genres. These include music mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally, coming of age film Stand By Me, military courtroom drama A Few Good Men and comedic fantasy adventure The Princess Bride, all of which deserve their places on the shelves of any film fanatic. Now in his 60s, Reiners output has recently dwindled somewhat in both quantity and quality, though recent efforts such as The Bucket List have seen him work with esteemed actors such as Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson and Kevin Costner.
