A Quentin Tarantino film is a valuable and impressive addition to any actor's filmography. The auteur has had enormous success creating his own style and emulating it in a wealth of genres, and with him in his late 50s and historically saying that he would be happy to retire after his 10th film, there isn't much time left to nab a role in one of his flicks.

Unfortunately, Jennifer Lawrence missed out on Tarantino's 9th, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Early reports had Lawrence on Tarantino's shortlist of actors, but she lost out to Australian star Margot Robbie. Robbie is the spitting image of her onscreen character Shannon Tate, though, so perhaps that swayed the decision from a casting perspective.

What's more, Lawrence also missed out on the role of Daisy Domergue in 2015's The Hateful Eight, so she could potentially only have one more shot at a starring role in Tarantino's final outing.
