10 Actors Who Are About To Make A Huge Comeback

5. Tom Hanks - Bridge Of Spies

Tom Hanks comes and goes as he pleases in Hollywood nowadays, and he's earned the right to do so, having starred in some of the best and most beloved motion pictures of the last two decades. Still, it's a shame when he disappears for long periods of time - as far as the cinema scene is concerned, it feels like some crucial element is missing. He hasn't really been in much since 2013, after all, when he made a dramatic return to form in Paul Greengrass' Captain Phillips, which at the time was purported to be a comeback film of sorts. But Hanks did very little in the wake of said comeback, which means that his next movie - Bridge of Spies - could signal a true return for the actor. And that's because Bridge of Spies happens to be directed by Steven Spielberg, one of the greatest directors of all-time, and a frequent Hanks collaborator. Based on the 1960 U-2 incident, in which a lawyer named James Donovan is thrust into the center of the Cold War, it has Oscar-winner written all over it - and could be Hanks' best movie in years.
