8. David Howard Thornton - Screamboat
Even though David Howard Thornton is best known for portraying Terrifier's villainous Art the Clown under tons of makeup, Thornton is hugely active on social media and the convention circuit, ensuring there's a good chance you could actually pick the guy out of a lineup. But Thornton has undergone an even more epic and disconcerting transformation than Art for his new Mickey Mouse-aping slasher flick, Screamboat.
Because the original Steamboat Willie iteration of Mickey Mouse entered the public domain in 2024, it was only inevitable that a glut of mouse-themed slashers would be produced, the most promising of which is surely Screamboat.
Thornton will portray this murderous, mischievous rendition of Mickey, kitted out in honestly pretty damn solid makeup and prosthetics to once again render him wholly unrecognisable, even to those well familiar with the man's appearance. If you squint at Thornton's face you might just about be able to make out the vague vestige of Art the Clown, but by and large he totally disappears into this utterly cursed take on the character.
