10 Actors Who Are Unrecognisable In Upcoming Movies

4. Dan Roebuck - The Munsters

You may not know the name Dan Roebuck, but you almost certainly recognise his face.

Roebuck is a veteran character actor with over 250 acting credits to his name, perhaps most memorably playing Deputy Marshal Robert Biggs in The Fugitive and U.S. Marshals, Jay Leno in The Late Shift, and the ill-fated Arzt in Lost.

A classic "that guy" actor if there ever was one, Roebuck will undergo quite the epic transformation when he co-stars in Rob Zombie's upcoming cinematic reboot of the classic 1960s sitcom The Munsters.

Roebuck will play Grandpa, the crotchety, vampiric father of Lily Munster (Sheri Moon Zombie) and father-in-law of Herman Munster (Jeff Daniel Phillips).

The first set photos released by Zombie confirm the impressive extent of Roebuck's transformation, with considerable makeup, prosthetics, and hairstyling making him a dead ringer for original Grandpa actor Al Lewis.

No matter how the film turns out - which with Zombie directing is never a sure thing - it looks like sufficient effort is at least being put into the details.
