Elijah Wood is the youthful actor who gathered huge popularity in the late 90's and early 2000's. He began acting as a young child and used his cutesy nature to his advantage, landing role after role with his first being in Back To The Future: Part 2. However, it wasn't until later in his career that Wood began to shift up his image.

Many people will recognise Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins from the original Lord of the Rings trilogy. Wood played the excitable hobbit, gallivanting through Middle Earth in the search of adventure, friendship and food. His most famous role left him with a cute, boy-child image that Hollywood labelled him with, but Wood had other plans.

After the Lord of the Rings trilogy wrapped filming, Wood was eager to find something new and break away from the innocent shadow that Frodo cast. He couldn't have done much better than Sin City.

In the black and white crime thriller, Wood played Kevin, a deranged, mute cannibal. After this, Elijah was no longer the Frodo-esque nice guy but was now more suited to the violent, gritty roles in films such as Green Street Hooligans, Maniac and The Pawn Shop Chronicles.

If you have clicked on here, get ready to be bored. I'm just a 20 year old white male who has a (probably) unhealthy obsession with pop culture Film and TV. Handy in a trivia game but not much else. My parents were never murdered, I'm not avenging my dead wife. Just plain, old sat at a computer with a head full of knowledge I mostly don't use I was born and raised in the Black Country near Birmingham, England however am now living in Manchester, England after I moved here two years ago. I currently attend the University of Salford, studying Broadcast Journalism. That's it really. Told you there was nothing special. If you're really that desperate for something to do, follow me on socials. Yes, I do like that ego boost.
