Speaking of Sparta, there are few actors in the business today that exhibit true manliness like Gerard Butler does. He's one of the biggest action stars in recent years and has been in a number of romantic films as well in which he does a suburb job. Whether that's your thing or not is a whole other discussion, but Butler can swoon the best Hollywood actresses that come his way. It makes more sense that if Disney is to re-boot Indiana Jones, it will do so with another actor that is around the same age that Harrison Ford was when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out. This role is designed to be for an actor that is in their late 30s to early 40s and is a man that is very knowledgeable about the world he lives in. Although an excellent choice to the play the role, Butler would play a much better Indy with the whip and fedora than the professor at Marshall College. Possible Storyline: In 1946 there was a United States expedition known as Operation Highjump in which the US Navy traveled to the Antarctic to do tests in the frigidly cold temperatures. Prior to this expedition, the Nazi's had an established base in this part of the world during the height of their power. Hold you breath for this but one theory for Operation Highjump is that it was a cover up in search of a UFO buried beneath the Antarctic ice. Although the Nazis are a familiar villain to Indiana Jones, a storyline taking placed after the fall of the Third Reich in a remote area such as this could prove to be an interesting twist.
