5. Jacob Elordi
Barry Keoghan's fantastic performance aside, 2023's Saltburn was helped by an equally captivating and charming stint by Jacob Elordi. Starring in the Kissing Booth Netflix trilogy and then the hit TV show Euphoria, Elordi is certainly well-equipped to race on in there and steal your heart with a wink and a smile.
But would he be any good as Bond? Well, Elordi might be so convincing in Saltburn as the English high roller Felix Cotton, that you might not realise he's actually Australian. If he was cast in the role, it would make him only the second Aussie to portray Bond, following in the footsteps of On Her Majesty's Secret Service star George Lazenby.
The 6'4" actor certainly has the physical presence on screen but where he is a little more untested is in the action department. His roles so far have been more aligned to coming-of-age dramas, thrillers, and teen romance, most notably perfecting his Jailhouse Rock as Elvis in the 2023 drama Priscilla. This would be a huge leap for the actor and at 26 years old, would be a massive gamble. Still, it'd throw the TikTok generation into an absolute frenzy. And wouldn't that just be kind of cool?
