10 Actors Who Could Play The Next James Bond
4. Kingsley Ben-Adir
Making a name for himself initially in TV dramas like ITV's Vera and Peaky Blinders, Kingsley Ben-Adir made the leap onto the silver screen and has charted a meteoric rise in a very short space of time. He's certainly not shy about taking on iconic roles, either, having already starred as Malcolm X in One Night In Miami and then, most recently, Bob Marley in One Love. And let's not forget he's one of the Kens in Barbie - Basketball Ken to be precise.
While the 37-year-old actor might have been more in the background a few years ago, he's got leading man energy now. Kenergy, in fact.
So how would Ben-Adir fair as Bond himself? As far as charms go, he's certainly got that in bucketloads. He pretty near charmed the pants of Anna Kendrick and audiences in his role as Grant in Love Life. There's no doubting that he'd seem comfortable in a tux at swanky events. However, like Elordi, Ben-Adir's physicality is where he would be a little untested. He's never been in roles that have required action, preferring to stick to dramas. His choreography on stage at the Oscars though alongside Ryan Gosling might offer some help in this department. He's got the dance moves at least.
