10 Actors Who Just Appeared In Their Worst Movie
9. Amy Schumer - Kinda Pregnant
Amy Schumer became an overnight Movie Star with her big-screen lead debut in 2015's acclaimed comedy Trainwreck, though her filmography since has been a wildly uneven mixed bag of comedy vehicles that have mostly fallen short of the mark.
Low-effort romps like Snatched (36%) and I Feel Pretty (35%) just didn't make the most of Schumer's acerbic comedic talents, but her latest comedy for Netflix, Kinda Pregnant, marked a new low.
The premise alone - of a woman (Schumer) who fakes a pregnancy in order to experience the joy and attention of being pregnant - is a tricky one to pull off, though with a suitably thorny, satirical throughline it absolutely could've worked.
But with Adam Sandler's nephew Tyler Spindel directing - previously responsible for Netflix atrocities such as Father of the Year (0%), The Wrong Missy (33%), and The Out-Laws (28%) - it's not remotely surprising that Kinda Pregnant is... kinda terrible?
Its 28% Tomatometer score and mere 27% audience approval rating make it her consensus-worst project to date, though there's still plenty of room to go lower with whatever she cooks up next.
