The Movies: Ex Machina, Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Seventh Son, The Danish Girl, Burnt Alicia Vikander is the new Hollywood "It" girl, which makes sense when you consider just how many movies she has appeared in during the course of this year alone. In fact, Vikander - a Swedish native - has technically appeared in more than 6 films this year, because Testament of Youth, though made in 2014, wasn't given a wide release until 2015. And so for Miss Vikander, this year has been a tour-de-force in career-making. This girl is talented as hell, and has managed to shine in every one of the six. Her best? No one could deny that her turn as android Ava in the phenomenal sci-fi picture Ex Machina was seriously remarkable stuff; deft, controlled and both artificial and humanistic in equal measure.
