10 Actors Who Made An Insane Amount Of Movies In One Year

9. Robert De Niro Featured In 6 Movies In 2013

The Movies: The Big Wedding, Killing Season, The Family, Last Vegas, American Hustle, Grudge Match There are some actors, like Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio, who know the inherent power of appearing in just one or two movies every year. Less is more; audiences feverishly await your next venture when they are obvious labours of love. Robert De Niro used to know all about that, and then something happened at the turn of the millennium and the Oscar-winning legend started down a tragic path. Now he makes too many films. No year summarises this actor's late-stage decline better than 2013, in which De Niro somehow featured in a whopping 6 motion pictures across 12 short months. The best role De Niro managed here was in American Hustle, but even that was only a bit part; a brief cameo for the Taxi Driver icon. The Big Wedding and Las Vegas emerged as truly dire "comedy" ventures, of course, whilst The Family and Killing Season were destined for bargain bins everywhere right off the bat. We don't talk about Grudge Match.
