10 Actors Who Really Don't Belong In Upcoming Movies

4. Owen Wilson - No Escape

Who the heck do you think you are, Owen Wilson? You think you can just randomly transition from comedies to thrillers at the drop of a hat? This isn't Behind Enemy Lines, buddy; you haven't been working the serious films for years now, and all of a sudden there's a motion picture coming out in which you play a frightened father forced to protect his family during an unexpected military coup in Thailand? Well, no: that's just not on. In other words, Owen Wilson has kept his career noticeably "light" in recent years, and then - out of the blue - we're supposed to buy him in something titled "No Escape," a film that also happens to feature Pierce Brosnan (James bloody Bond) in a co-starring capacity. It doesn't seem like the sort of film that Wilson should be featuring in nowadays at all. Not that he'll necessarily be bad in the film, of course; he just feels like a really odd choice when you consider that so many other actors could have appeared in this flick... and yet the producers and the studio went with Owen Wilson. You know: the voice of Marmaduke.
