10 Actors Who Suffered The Most In 2016

That's My Boy and Pixels marked the end of an era for Adam Sandler; it signalled audiences would no longer turn up to see big budget movies where he was clearly wasn’t bothered. For years he’d been happy to earn huge amounts from lazy comic ideas, where he ideally got to hang out with his buddies Kevin James, David Spade or Rob Schneider.

So it was business as usual in 2016, where the only movie he released – the Netflix exclusive The Do-Over – had him co-star with David Spade and go through the motions while filming in a sunny tropical location. Nice for him, but the film’s scathing reviews have driven another nail into his already shaky big screen career.

His other 2016 appearance was a guest role on Kevin James new sitcom Kevin Can Wait, a show where the title is the beginning and end of the good gags.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
