It's easy to think of big-name Hollywood actors as being nothing more than mega-rich stars, which of course many of them are, but at the end of the day, they are also human. They may be famous, but that doesn't mean they don't face many of the same things us regular folks do on a day-to-day basis.

On the A-List, the tippy top tier, you'll find the kind of stars that have likely never had to worry about money in a long, long time, but that doesn't apply to all. Even those on screen have to pay their bills.

This was, according to the man himself, the surprisingly mundane motivation behind Jared Harris taking the role of Dr. Emil Nicholas in Morbius.

Harris is an esteemed actor, with characters like Professor Moriarty and Chernobyl's Valery Legasov glowing examples on his list of credits. Naturally, the question of such an actor winding up in a film as poorly received as Morbius was raised, to which Jared Harris simply responded that he had a mortgage to pay. You just have to appreciate the honesty and the sense of humour he is able to maintain after such a critical and commercial flop.
