10 Actors Who Went Undercover For Famous Movie Roles
6. Tom Holland Decided To Swing By A School - Spider-Man: Homecoming
Speaking of MCU alumni, it's time to swing into the hilarious research Tom Holland felt was entirely necessary when slinging a web for his first solo Spidey outing in the sprawling Marvel universe.
With the Brit not being that clued up on the ins and outs of American high school life, Holland was sent on a sort of research experiment before taking Peter Parker for his second spin on the big screen. When asked by director John Watts what he discovered after his stint in a New York City school, the actor brilliantly noted, “Firstly, I’m thick as s**t and I had no idea what they were talking about," before adding, "secondly, it is so unbelievably diverse, especially in Queens and Brooklyn and the Bronx..."
Perhaps the funniest part of this whole Bronx School of Science experiment is the fact that Holland would later reveal himself to be the cinematic Spider-Man, only for the students in said school to laugh off his claims, due to it not being public knowledge at the time, and carry on as usual. Charming.
