10 Actors Whose Credibility Suffered The Most In 2015

4. Liam Neeson

A lot of people would probably say that Liam Neeson's credibility has been dropping for years now - and 2015 continues the downward spiral. After igniting the dadsploitation genre back in 2008 with Taken, Neeson has since been on a crazy cinematic binge, throwing out a relentless barrage of films - enough to put Samuel L. Jackson's prolificacy to shame. In 2014, Neeson offered up some highly questionable filmic ventures - A Millions Ways to Die in the West and Non-Stop, to name two of the worst offenders - but this year saw the Schindler's List actor caught in a real nosedive of really trashy, forgettable pictures. Taken 3 and Run All Night pretty much marked the death of the dadsploitation sub-genre that Neeson helped to define, sucking away any goodwill that anybody had left for that first franchise. Then there was a misguided cameo in Ted 2, re-teaming Neeson with Seth MacFarlane, and an ill-judged and very unnecessary cameo in the Entourage movie. Thank heavens, then, that 2016 looks to set to put Neeson back on track; he's playing the lead in Martin Scorsese's adaptation of Silence. Is a resurgence on the cards, maybe?
