10 Actors With Shockingly High Movie Death Counts

As seems to be a curse on the actors that have donned the fangs of goth vampire extraordinaire Dracula, there's only one that can out-die Bela Lugosi, and that's the white wizard of Isengard, the pagan Lord of Summerisle, Count mother-fluffin Dooku himself: Christopher Lee. The man with 70 fatalities and a gargantuan 280 films under his belt, if you can dream up a ridiculous death, then it's probably already happened to Lee on screen.

He's been shot, staked, stabbed, sawn and torn apart in every which direction an actor can be - racking himself up a film career that spanned from 1939 to 2015 and left various body parts strewn about the almost-century he was active in the process.

In essence, Lee is a staple of cinema history, and whilst his numerous deaths will go down as some of the most plentiful and dramatic of all time - it's his treasured acting ability that will serve as most memorable.

(Unless we're counting that time he got electrocuted by a gremlin in The New Batch of course.)
