5. Halle Berry - X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Unlike many of the aforementioned examples, Halle Berry learned that she was pregnant before shooting started on X-Men: Days of Future Past, and so director Bryan Singer was handily able to ensure that her scenes were shot at the beginning of principal photography.

As it turned out, Berry actually only shot for about two weeks on the superhero sequel, after which she was, in her own words, "Busting out of the suit."

This would explain why Storm's role in the final film is so small and scarcely amounts to more than a cameo, even if fans probably never would've guessed that the actress was actually pregnant at the time.

Berry added, "My ever-growing belly was posing a constant challenge...What I could do was getting more limited so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy."

Given that this was Berry's final performance as Storm, it was a bit of a shame for her to exit in such underwhelming fashion, even if the reasons are totally understandable.
