10 Actresses You Didn't Know Were Pregnant During Filming

Rosamund Pike plays the female lead Helen Rodin in the Tom Cruise-starring action flick Jack Reacher, and by the time shooting wrapped, she was five months pregnant. Mercifully for the actress, though, the part didn't require her to do much in the way of stunt work - that was all Cruise's bag.

Still, it's a prominent role in the movie, and despite some online commentators noting the seemingly enhanced size of Pike's cleavage during a few scenes, her real-life pregnancy was largely undetected by most viewers.

Of her experience on the film, Pike spoke incredibly highly of co-star Cruise in particular:

"You don't know if you're going to have terrible morning sickness, whether you're going to suddenly balloon. I felt as if I had a secret stowaway...[Cruise] is a big, iconic star who really is protective - and Tom was protective in a way I didn't expect. Sometimes you think after 30 years the performance might all be just for the camera - but you get all of it with Tom. Everybody gets all of it."
