5. Harrison Ford's Limp Was Actually Real - The Fugitive
Being an actor means that you often have to act more than just emotions - being punched in the face, diving out of the way explosions, and bleeding out from a nasty gut shot all have to be mastered in order to convince audiences that you really know your stuff. Case in point: Harrison Ford spends much of 1993's The Fugitive running around with a noticeable limp - most of us who saw the movie probably thought: "Yeah, convincing limp. Great job." The reason it's so realistic, though? It's real. Ford injured himself whilst shooting that scene with him running through the forest, ended up tearing a ligament in his knee, and developed that noticeable hobble as a result. Instead of getting the appropriate surgery right away, though, Ford just manned-up and kept shooting - only after shooting had wrapped did he get around to fixing it. A minor detail that enhances the watching experience, nonetheless.
