4. Sebastian Shaw Caused A Split In The Timeline

Kevin Bacon competently portrayed Sebastian Shaw in the acclaimed X-Men: First Class and one fan theory suggests that he could be responsible for a split in the timeline that caused different events to occur in different movies. At the beginning of the first X-Men movie, Magneto is shown discovering his powers at a Nazi concentration camp. This scene is repeated in X-Men: First Class, but there are some noticeable changes to the original. The theory here is that, in the original X-Men timeline, Sebastian Shaw did not exist.
