10. Horror Movie All-Star Battle Royale: Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash vs. Michael Myers vs. Leatherface vs. Ghostface vs. Chucky vs. Pinhead
We've already seen the decent-but-frustrating Freddy vs. Jason, and we very nearly got Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash (which eventually became a comic instead), so why not just throw all of the horror's genre's royalty into one giant battle for supremacy?
Why It'd Be Awesome: Because we'd love to see Freddy invading the dreams of Michael Myers, and Leatherface trying to slice Chuck's head off, that's why. With this many iconic horror film characters, what could go wrong?
Why It Might Not Work: In reality, a lot, unfortunately. For starters, getting a half-way comprehensible plot in order that would bring these horror icons together would be virtually impossible, short of taking the Freddy vs. Jason route, whereby Freddy enters all of their dreams and lures them to the same place for an epic showdown. Even then, it's unlikely the respective rights-holders would want any of their own characters to be killed off in the film, unless the movie was clearly delineated as a fantastical "what-if" scenario, like a one-shot comic book series.
