10 Awesome Movie Franchise Crossovers We're Dying To See
9. Green Lantern & The Flash
Why It'd Be Awesome: It's been rumoured for a while that DC and Warner Bros. are already hard at work on making this project a reality for a Christmas 2017 release, though this has yet to be confirmed, and nothing was said of it at this year's Comic-Con. As a way of enhancing these characters who will be introduced in 2017's Justice League (short of cameo appearances in Batman v Superman), it's a smart move, because Green Lantern's first solo cinematic outing was a colossal dud, and throwing The Flash into the mix ensures a little financial security for Warner: it's two (potentially) awesome characters for the price of one. Why It Might Not Work: It really depends on how the pair are depicted in Justice League. Whoever is cast in the roles needs to go on a total charm offensive, making us like these guys fast (considering they won't be the focus of the film) and actually making a spin-off seem worthwhile. Giving them lots of argumentative, funny banter in Justice League will be crucial, because if not, audiences simply might not be interested in seeing the pair team up.
