8. Scrabble (Sneakers)
Scrabble is a game played with a hundred tiles that represent letters. The pieces are placed on a board and players use strategy, their vast vocabularies and a little bit of luck to gain points. What if the Falcon and the Snowman grew up, one becoming a security system tester and the other delving into the world of corruption? This is the question asked by the film Sneakers, which stars Robert Redford as the brilliant hacker who finds himself wrapped up in a mysterious conspiracy. In the film, Redford's Martin is tasked with the job of obtaining something from a mathematician named Dr. Gunter Janek who is involved in a project called Setec Astronomy. Martin, using Scrabble tiles, unwraps the letters of Setec Astronomy to form the anagram "too many secrets", the clue which leads him further down the rabbit hole in his search for the truth.
