10 Awesome Movies With Terrible Endings

For the most part, Kingsman: The Secret Service was a hell of a time.

Ridiculously absorbing fight sequences, generally likeable secret agents attempting to save the world, and Samuel L. Jackson fulfilling a life-long dream of playing a James Bond villain-type character. What's not to like?

The needlessly misogynistic ending, that's what.

Earlier on in the film, Taron Egerton's Eggsy bumps into a locked-up Swedish Princess who ultimately promises him they can "do it in the a******" if he successfully keeps the planet safe.

It could have been little more than a cheeky throwaway moment even when Eggsy opted to return to her cell at film's end. 

But rather than cutaway just as things were about to get heated, the camera lingers a bit too long on Hanna Alström's lower half and the entire thing ends up feeling incredibly gratuitous.

The joke would have stood a better chance of landing had the film just ended on Eggsy entering the room. However, Matthew Vaughn clearly wanted to squeeze this uncomfortable moment into his movie, and brought his otherwise excellent spy comedy to an end with one crude joke too far.
